Who We Are

O & B is a multi-disciplinary architectural and consultancy office, based at Maastricht, the Netherlands. During the past decades, O & B carried out projects on behalf of both domestic and foreign companies, project developers, government agencies and individuals. Our focus is always to create a design with a high quality, both in design and construction.            

O & B is managed by:
Ir. Manuel Op 't Root 
Graduated at the University of Technology, Eindhoven (NL), Department of Architecture.
Ir. Paul Beerts
Graduated at the University of Technology, Eindhoven (NL), Construction engineering department, with specialisms construction, construction costs, building physics.

For each project, a unique team is composed of required disciplines such as architects, project engineers and architectural draughtsmen. Also at the preliminary stage of the design, interdisciplinary relations are established with consultants and specialists, focusing on the specific nature of the project. During the entire process we remain in charge of this team of consultants and specialists in the field of structural and mechanical engineering, building physics and landscape architecture. In the initial phase, we emphatically investigate the possibilities to obtain an optimal sustainable project. O & B has its own quality procedures, based on the ISO 9001 standards.
